Why I built Compare Prices In Store
The idea comes from a very ordinary situation: standing in a shop looking at two or three pack sizes and trying to work out which one is actually better value.
The cheapest shelf price is not always the best deal, and the largest pack is not automatically the cheapest per unit. Add multipacks and special offers and a simple purchase can suddenly need more mental arithmetic than it should.
This app is designed to answer that one question quickly: which option gives me the best value?
Focused on the decision, not a shopping platform
The first version is deliberately manual and predictable. It is not a barcode database, shopping list, supermarket account, loyalty app, coupon finder or online price tracker. You enter the information you can see in front of you and the app makes the options comparable.
